“Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent.” – Eleanor Roosevelt.
You are one of a kind. No one else is like you. You are unique and highly valuable.
Now that you have been reminded, let’s talk about how knowing your self value can help you in your life and pursuit of happiness.
I have known many people, and I hate to say it, but especially women who have somehow built a life fully dependent on their spouse. Fast forward to the future, that relationship doesn’t work out, and they are left with (mostly nothing), but worst with a damaged self esteem and low self value. I can empathize, and I understand that it is a scary thought to pick up the pieces and start from scratch, but that shouldn’t be the end at all. It will take time, but it will get better.
My priority here is discussing and helping you to decide that today is the last day you choose to feel sad for yourself.
You are beautiful. You are intelligent, You have value. You are worth having and finding happiness.
Surround yourself with people who make you happy, that can support you, that can lend an ear. Try to talk about your feeling’s and try to use each day as one step closer to being healed. If you can, stand in front of the mirror and tell yourself you are beautiful, smart, confident, and you deserve the best!
Wear your confidence! Don’t allow others and circumstances to take away that from you. Don’t give them that opportunity!
“Love yourself! You are a gift. Nothing would be the same if you didn’t exist.”
