I have a feeling these posts may be crossing the boundaries and some details may be TMI, but that’s the fun of blogging. I am excited to share my journey with you guys!
I was laying down on the uncomfortable bed, with my legs spread open, moments before my transvaginal ultrasound began. I was nervous and didn’t know whether to look at the screen or close my eyes.
I instructed my husband to make sure he captured the video, knowing that after the doctors visit was over I wanted to view the video over and over again.
The doctor told us she was going to look and center everything and instruct the hubby when to start recording. She pointed to the baby and said, “There’s the fetus!”
All I could remember is me saying “Aww. It’s really there!”
The doctor proceeded telling the hubby to look closely for the flicker, which was the baby’s heart beat. My husbands words… “Oh shoot.”
It was finally really feeling real.
I pretended to see the flicker well because it was hard to look at it in the uncomfortable position. lol I was still very happy to hear that everything was looking great.
The doctor proceeded on telling us how far along the baby was measuring and gave us our due date.
We are happy to announce… our first baby estimated due date is…
December 21st, 2016!
We love Christmas, and can’t wait to celebrate this year bringing home our first baby. We pray that all continues to go well. We are beyond grateful for all of the prayers and support we have received from everyone!

If you have gone through a pregnancy before, how do you enjoy the time in between the doctor visits? I feel like time is moving so slow!
